The 1911 Revolution or1911, also known as Xinhai Revolution is a 2011 Chinese historical drama film. The film is a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution. It is also Jackie Chan's 100th film in his career.Besides starring in it, Chan is also the executive producer and director of the film. Co-stars include Chan's son Jaycee Chan, Li Bingbing, Winston Chao, Joan Chen and Hu Ge. This film was selected to open the 24th Tokyo International Film Festival.
Storyline -
A historical drama based on the founding of the Republic of China when nationalist forces led by Sun Yat-sen overthrew the Qing Dynasty.The film is said to have a combination of history, action, war and romance, besides bringing together 70-plus celebrities including Li Bing bing, Winston Chao, Joan Chen, Ning Jing, Yu Shaoqun, as well as Jaycee (Jackie’s son).
