The Innkeepers is a 2011 horror film written, directed, and edited by Ti West,starring Kelly McGillis, Pat Healy and Sara Paxton.
Storyline -
During the final days at the Yankee Pedlar Inn, two employees determined to reveal the hotel's haunted past begin to experience disturbing events as old guests check in for a stay. The old inn is about to close. It has a history of being haunted. Two employees who have heard the stories want to investigate and find the truth about the spirits and if it is true, they want to find the evidence. A ghost of a young woman roams the hotel at night, the tale is that she was left at the alter and so stricken with emotion, she hung herself. The two friends try but fail at contacting her spirit, until one day a medium contacts them and tells them that if they want to reach the spirits, she’s the one that can help them. They are warned by the medium not to go into the basement. As in all horror films, when told not to enter somewhere, the first place they go is there!! After the medium’s visit, the two friends find themselves in a very scary and difficult situation.
